   Rin (Yumi Sugimoto) a young high school student is your everyday awkward girl who gets bullied by her fellow students. While being bullied she starts feels a sharp pain in her hand. One day she comes home on her 16th birthday, Rin gets an unexpected surprise: she finds out that she is, on her father's side, a half-mutant. No sooner has she learns this secret when her Tokyo-home is raided by Anti-Mutant soldiers that wear Nose-Gun Helmets who Indescriminately kill Rin's parents. Barely escaping with her life (Along with killing almost the entire populance of the shoping district out of self defense.) Rin takes shelter with a group of mutant girls who are under the direction of a Transvestite Samurai named Kisaragi (Tak Sakaguchi), who plans to end their persecution by taking over Japan. Under the instruction of the mutant girl Rei, Rin trains with with an Iron mask on until she can control her powers. While in training, the tentacle-armed Yoshie tells Rin about Rei's past that many years ago before Kisaragi came into her life Rei was a freak show attraction at a circus where she only received compassion and acceptance from a human boy who that gave her a gold cross necklace who was later killed by the Circus people for loving her. (Rin later finds this necklace after Rei accidentally drops it during her training.) After being strapped to a machine by Rei, Rin breaks free from her mask with her newly controlled powers much earlier than Kisaragi had expected. Kisaragi then orders Rin to infiltrate and attack a high ranking Japanese general named Koshimizu at an Anti Mutant conference with Yoshie. Rin and Yoshie are successful with this attack but find themselves unable to finish off some remaining humans. These survivors are then killed by Rei under the order of Kisaragi.
